Why is 0% Finance The Only Option?

We have tried to keep this as simple as possible and have chosen by far the most popular finance option our customers ask for. You will have an option to choose from a range of different credit products (6, 9, 12, 18 and 24 Months) depending on the order value of your basket.

For example, if you decide to buy a product for £1000.00, you will be presented with a finance option for 6, 9 and 12 months interest free finance. If you choose any product or products over £1,499.99 you will also get the option of an 18 month interest free period also.

We have three distinct bands that trigger different finance options for you :

How Do I Get Finance?

Simply add the gym equipment you want to your basket and then proceed to checkout as normal. When it asks you for your payment option, please choose "finance" and click enter. You will be transferred to a secured and encrypted server where you can choose the exact finance product you would like and then you can complete the application form.

The whole process takes about 10 minutes and everything is done securely online. You will also know if the application has been successful after about 30 seconds - so no hanging around waiting!

What Products are Eligible?

We offer 0% finance on most of our products. However, there are some products that are not eligible for finance for a number of reasons.

When purchasing an individual item, you will see on the product page whether it is eligible for finance. If you choose to buy more than one product on finance and include an item that is not eligible for finance, you will need to remove it at checkout in order to process the other items. Your basket total must be over £500 with eligible finance products to apply.

I've Been Approved - What Happens Next?

You will have the option to print the agreement or request for a copy to be sent over. If you don't have a printer you will receive your copy 24/48 hours after you've been accepted. You will have to:

Enclose a proof of address (gas, electricity, council tax)
Sign the agreement
Send it back to the finance company

Once they receive it they will give us the go ahead to deliver your product. All in all, from the moment you are accepted to the moment we receive the agreement is only a matter of days - it all depends how fast you post the signed documents back!

How Does The Payment Work ?

The great thing about Interest Free is that the total amount payable is NEVER GREATER than the original CASH PRICE.

That means that if you bought a treadmill for £1,950 via the 12 month interest free option you will have paid £1,950.00 at the end of the period. Not a penny more. There are also no risks of incurring late charges or having to remember when to pay the instalments - everything is done automatically for you.

Getting Finance - The Fine Print

To qualify for finance, you must:
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have been a UK resident for 3 years or more
• Be able to make repayments by direct debit
• Be in regular employment* (minimum of 16 hours per week) including self-employment, or in permanent residence with your spouse/partner who is in regular employment

*If you are retired and receive a pension or registered disabled and unable to work, V12 Retail Finance may ask for proof of sufficient income.

We’ll need to ask you for some information during the loan application process, such as name, 3 year address history, date of birth, email and telephone contact details and employment/income information. If you are accepted you will also need a credit or debit card registered to you at your address on the credit application so that V12 can carry out an electronic identity check.

We expect that you will be given an acceptance or decline decision very quickly - sometimes within 10-20 seconds. In some cases, V12 may return the decision as "referred". You will then receive an email with further instructions once their underwriters have made a decision. Underwriting hours are between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays), 9am and 6pm on Saturday, and 10am and 5pm on Sunday. If your application is referred outside of these hours then you may have to wait until the next working day for the decision.

For finance orders, we are only able to deliver the goods to the address on your credit agreement (your home address). You will not be able to have the goods shipped to another address or collect the goods from us in person.

If you wish to return your order then please refer to our returns policy and terms and conditions. If we accept your return we will contact V12 to cancel the credit agreement. We will not able to cancel the finance if the return falls outside of our returns period.

You will be informed of the decision if V12 declines your application - they are unable to share the reason for decline with us. Applications are usually declined for reasons such as:

• You do not meet the eligibility criteria (see above)
• Adverse credit reference agency information
• Your credit score
• You are considered to be overcommitted
• Your existing account performance with other lenders

V12 will give you the contact details for the credit reference agency used. They will also give you information on how to appeal the decision if you want to discuss the matter. Please note that they are unable to discuss this over the telephone due to Data Protection rules. Also, each lender applies its own credit score to applicants so if you have recently been accepted for credit elsewhere this does not necessarily mean that appealing the decision on this basis alone will result in a change of decision.
